I thought the 2nd Child's Play was for the most part a serious horror film.

I found the first 3 Child's Play movies to be pretty serious. Bride of Chucky was just a crock of shit, imo.

I thought part 3 was more comical and felt a little more contrived than the first 2, though it never reached the vibe of the comedic BoC.
