I almost picked Resurrection as a joke. I've seen all of those except Dawn of the Dead (2004). Of those listed I enjoyed TCM the most.

Dawn of the Dead: Great gore & effects, but too popcorn-ish Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed: Barely tollerable as a GS film Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning: Very dull & silly. House of 1000 Corpses: I watched this for an hour & thought it was pretty dumb. 28 Days Later: Loved it- smart & intense. Freddy Vs Jason: Total piece of crap. I laughed the entire way through. Halloween: Resurrection: I walked away after JLC was killed off. I came back & regreted even bothering to watch the rest. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Pretty good- great gore- but, Jessica Biel is annoying.

Dawn of the Dead: have yet to see it.. but will likely think its great!
Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed: Totally loved it! That's my pick though GS #1 should have been on here too..
Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning: good but not as a GS movie.
House of 1000 Corpses: Meh.....
28 Days Later: This was a great movie for sure!
Freddy Vs Jason: Alright.... could have definitely been better but hey Kat Isabelle and Robert Englund were in it!
Halloween: Resurrection: I have no intention of seeing this at all........
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Pretty good- great gore - intense scenes with Leatherface. I liked it!
What about Session 9, May, Identity, Devil's Backbone, The Ring, The Grudge.... there are too many but yeah i would have to liked see some others on here.

Damn I can't believe I forgot Ginger Snaps!!!!!
I meant to put that on, didn't even realize I left it off.
I had a bunch of movies, but had to narrow it down to 8, so I had to leave a certain couple off, how I forgot the first Ginger Snaps is beyond me.

That's the selection? sheesh. I picked "dawn" but there are far too many good ones since 2000 that you didn't even list! Here's my top ten since 2000: 1. Bubba HoTep 2. Frailty 3. Shaun Of the Dead 4. My Little Eye 5. Dawn Of The Dead 6. The Others 7. Brotherhood Of The Wolf 8. Tomei 9. 28 Days Later 10. May another 10: 11. Freddy Vs Jason 12. The Eye 13. Open Water 14. The Devil's Backbone 15. The Forsaken (underrated Vampire thriller) 16. Beyond Re-Animator 17. The Ring 18. Exorcist: The Begining (poor editing almost ruining a fine story, but good performances and great location photography help make up for it) 19. Ginger Snaps 2 20. Wrong Turn

Ok so my poll turned out horrible lol, hey it happens come on cut me some slack here lol.
I know I left a lot off some were totally by accident, it's too late now to change it, since people already voted.
Next time I'll just create 2 polls or something then let the winners face each other.
May how the hell did I leave that one off lol I love that movie!!!!!

no your poll doesnt suck just that there is too many great horror movies! it would be the same doing it for anyother decade.. though the decade isnt over yet but still.. proboards should have more poll options!

My Little Eye is about a group of kids who sign up to be part of a reality show where they have to stay at an abandoned house during winter season. What they don't know is, there's no reality show, but they are being bet upon who will be the last survivor. Is it a haunted house story? Madman on the loose? Monster? Not really, but you have to check it out. Unlike all the other spins on reality TV, this one has some great acting, tight plotting, creepy atmosphere, and a voyueristic feeling that is just unnerving.
And it totally slipped my mind that the first Ginger Snaps came out in 2000's. So slip that in about...#7, and that just leaves Wrong Turn to get knocked off.
