"Father's Day"
"The Lonesome Death Of Jordy Verrill"
"Something To Tide You Over"
"The Crate"
"They're Creeping Up On You"
My favorite is "The Crate". This movie is one of the greatest horror flicks ever made. George A. Romero and Stephen King, tag team, it can't miss. Lots of gore, good acting and scary moments make this classic one to watch all throughout the ages. Anyone else like this movie???

i remember liking it alot.. but dont remember much bout it now.
also i'd like to know if there was a story about a meteor and some guys go investigate and one of them touches it and begins growing hair all over his body... i have memory of that but dont know if its from this or another anthology thingie... could someone describe the stories!?

You're thinking of 'The Lonseome Death Of Jordy Verrill". Stephen King is the guy who touches the meteor. He was going to take it to the college in exchange for money so they can experiment with it; didn't go as he planned.
Father's Day is where the guy risis from the grave in search of Father's Day Cake.
Something To Tide you over is where Leslie Nielsen burries Taed Danson and his wife up to their necks in sand and they come back from the dead. The Crate is where the janitor discovers the crate under the stairs and it gets a few human meals, literally and They're Creeping Up On You is where the guy gets invaded by the roaches. They all bunch up inside his body and bust out for a barf city finale.

cool thanks xj! also another i have memories of, though only the end, is someone on a dock running from some grey or black blob thing as its coming close. whats that from?
i'll have to check out creepshow, i plan on buying it sometime...

As a kid I liked it, but I haven't seen it in years, I barely rememeber it now.
I'll have to check it out again.

You're thinking of Creepshow 2. That episode/short story is called The Raft. There is also Old Chief Wooden Head and The Hitchhiker. |

I loved Creepshow 1 & 2. My favorite from part 1 is "Something to Tide You Over". My favorite from part 2 would be the one about the vengeful wooden Indian. Tom Savini did awesome as the Creep in part 2 as well. Definitely must have movies.
