ohhh that's almost enough to scare me out of seeing it!! I don't think it should. The movie is very serious other than that one part. It was just a bit of comic relief. A very good, nay great movie.

In my eyes, a horror movie needs a creepy score or it is seriously lacking.

Yeah i'm definitely gonna see the DOTD remake.. and possibly buy before seeing it.. no worries!
XJ yeah a creepy score definitely makes for more quality but there are tons of great horror movies that are thought to have okay.. or crappy scores. imoho

Part of what made Halloween so great was the score. Carpenter said himself when he was trying to sell the movie he showed a version that didn't have the score yet and he was told it wasn't scary, this made him realize the importance of the score.
