Giallo? What the heck's that? Susperia's a Dario Argento film, is that who you're refering to? If so:
"Tenebre" and "Inferno" are excellent viewings from this artist. "Inferno" is actually a sequel to "Susperia." I'm not sure how, but it's suppose to be.

Okay... its a subgenre of horror, as i understand it... yes Argento did Suspiria. He, Mario Bava, and Lucio Fulci (with some of his stuff) mostly make up Giallo as far as i can tell.... lol i'm not very knowledgeable but yeah. Thanks for the Argento recommendations though! I'll definitely give them a shot.

Oh, I've never heard the term. I've always just called it, "Italian Horror."
Bava recommends:
Black Sunday Black Sabbath Bay Of Blood (sometimes known as Twitch Of THe Death Nerve) - The greatest (not best though) slasher film ever. It is what Black Sabbath (the band) is to heavy metal as Bay Of Blood is to the slasher genre. In fact, Friday the 13th is almost a remake of it.
Fulci recommends:
Zombie The Beyond.
I'm not too hot for Fulci. While most Italian horror is based more on visuals and interesting moods as their narratives take a back seat, Fulci's just a really bad director. However, the two films I just recommened of his are watchable, and important to the genre of horror.
Oh, and check out Lamberto Bava's "Demons". he's Mario Bava's son, and while not as artsy, Demons is a gory rock-a-thon with a stronger narrative that other italian maestros.

Opera - Seen it a long time ago. I remember it being good, or at least liking it, but I don't remember much else. Deep Red - Another Argento artsy classic. It slipped my mind from the recommendations. And a score almost equal to Susperia, yet I failed to mention it in the other thread on scores. 4 Flies On Gray Velvlet - Haven't seen it Bird With Crystal Plumage - haven't Seen It Card Player - Haven't seent it Phenomena - Decent. Beautiful to look at, but I didn't get much else from it. Girl Who Knew Too Much - haven't seen Kill Baby Kill - Eery ghost story. Very beautifully photographed. I guess I recommend it. Lisa And The Devil - I know this as "The House Of Exorcism", I almost lost you on this one. They retitled it the version I'm famiiar with because of the popularity of "The Exorcist." Actually, I thought this kinda sucked too. A weak spot in Bava's career. I Vampri - If this is what I think it is...it's an above average kinda sci-fi vampire movie that supposedly inspired Giger's design for "Alien." Haven't seen it. City Of The Living Dead - Also called "Gates Of Hell." Sucked. Big time. Sh!tty from beginning to end and one of the ten worst movies I've ever seen. Blood And Black Lace - This is a Bava film....and it's a good stalker film. And it involves FASHION MODELS!
