Keep a somewhat comic flair like the first but also add a serious vibe to it.

New director, new cast, better writing, and have both Freddy and Jason be as dark and evil as possible. Plus, Freddy needs some more kills in this one.

the return of previous characters like Tommy Jarvis or Tina Shepard. like i said before, Tommy is the only dude to face Jason twice and win both times.

I would like it to be darker, better acted, written, directed.... i also would like certain surviving characters from both series' to come back again.

More gore could be good, but the first was pretty gory in it's own right. Maybe have less comedic gore and jack the realism on the gore up.
