FvsJvsM at BloodyDisgusting?

Getting away from all the political talk for a minute, did anyone read the article at bloodydisgusting.com that talks about this possibility?

Even though it sounds like a bad idea, I always wondered how a fight like this would turn out. The big 3 going up against each other would be a site to see, but it would have to be done right. That's where the Ronny Yu factor comes in. I can almost guarentee you that Ronny Yu would screw this up, even more so than F vs J.

I would love to see them fight, but I just don't see how they can come up with a plausable storyline to work them all in. Not to mention, the movie would have to be longer to allow all three characters enough screen time.

Plus, you have to take into account the financial side of this. Can New Line and Dimension/Akkad actually come up with a deal to make this happen? I doubt it, but stranger things have happenend. Akkad cancelled Michael vs Pinhead, which was probably a good move since Hellraiser has basically vanished to the lower ranks of the horror hierarchy. However, Jason and Freddy are the big time. They, along with Michael are the top, and you know that the box office would probably be huge. Even if horror fans thought the film was a bad idea, they would still see it because it was the big 3 together. That fact might be able to persuade Dimension/Akkad to reach a deal.

This speculation is all very early, and I'm not really taking it too seriously because a lot of things have to happen in order to make it happen.

Any thoughts?

I only watched it once. But with it coming directly from Robert I guess its a pretty reliable source. his show sounds pretty good too! hopefully they'll have it out by January like he says there planning.

Wasn't it Robert who said FvJvA was a go as well?? Hmm... i dont know how i feel about this at all.... two silent villians, there better be some damn interesting teens! lol I would see it still because of Robert Englund of course but it doesnt seem right to me.

I don't know if I like that idea too much. It will be tough to work all 3 in the plot not to mention the would be victims.

In F Vs J, Freddy played his part, Jason did his, and the other characters played theirs.

But adding Michael I don't know might be too much.

I take that as a sign the franchises are dying, Universal did that with their characters. And they ran their course as well.

After Freddy Vs Jason came out and did well, I thought to myself this is what is gonna kill the franhcies.

Even though it was a hit, ya know New Line will make a sequel.

New Nightmare was great but didn't fair that well, Friday pt 8-X also weren't very huge hits.

And F Vs J brought that back but in my opinion the Vs movies will be the final nail in the coffin, and add that for Halloween if Michael is indeed in the next one.

I think that a sequel could and likely will be made... Robert will likely only do Freddy one or two more times as is.. so i want all i can have of him in the role! I could, personally, care less if it lead to Voorhees' and Myers' series being finished off as well. I know that opinion is going to be very unpopular around here... but meh oh well.
