On newschannels. These wouldn't happen to be the same newschannels that have Bush speaking, where the anti-Bush people are saying you can't believe everything you hear on tv, would it??? I have heard lots of people say, you can't believe everything you hear/see on tv.

Actually here you go...... "Bin Laden, who views the rigid Saudi theocracy as insufficiently Islamic, has long considered Saddam Hussein an infidel enemy. Before Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990, Bin Laden warned publicly that the Iraqi dictator had designs on conquering Saudi Arabia. When Iraq invaded Kuwait, Bin Laden offered to assemble his mujahedeen to battle Hussein and protect the Arabian peninsula. Last summer, when CNN acquired a cache of internal Al Qaeda training videotapes, they discovered a Qaeda documentary that was highly critical of Hussein. Peter Bergen, the CNN terrorism expert who interviewed Bin Laden in 1998, noted that Bin Laden indicted Hussein, as "a bad Muslim." That theme continues in the latest "Bin Laden" audiotape, released to Al Jazeera. In it, Bin Laden (or someone claiming to be him) urges Muslims to fight the American "crusaders" bent on invading Iraq. But even while urging assistance to Hussein's "socialist" regime, "Bin Laden" can't resist condemning that regime: "The jurisdiction of the socialists and those rulers has fallen a long time ago .... Socialists are infidels wherever they are, whether they are in Baghdad or Aden." sure i took a piece of it.. but go here to read the whole thing if you like www.cato.org/dailys/03-05-03.htmland i can likely find more sources if that isnt enough??

All I'm saying is that if I were to bring something from the net that Bush said, you and other Bush haters would tell me it's all lies. Am I right or am I right???

Bush has been known to lie... If I had quoted Kerry in that then i could understand but it wasnt. If you could give quotes from other sources as well as Bush i'd have to look into it further, yes. I'm not going to just dismiss something because i dont like who is saying it. i'll search things through... definitely!
Do you have a Bush quote to refute what i just said?

I don't have anything that Bush said, but I do believe everything he said at the debates and such.

I don't think you're stupid, man. I liked Bush alot because of my dislike I have for John Kerry. When he came out at the DNC and talked about being a war hero(maybe didn't use that word, but surely didn't turn away from hinting to it, neither), that contradicted what he said years ago. I have a quote, (I can't remember word for word, but I'll give you the website if you wanna read it. "John Kerry said of the 500,000 men and women who served in Vietnam, there were no heroes-they were all villians. Yet, in 2004, John Kerry called himself a hero". He talked so good about his military service, but yet sat in court years ago and trashed the names of his "brothers". That's why I dislike John Kerry. I know we weren't talking about him, but that is one of the reasons I like George.

John Kerry NEVER called himself a hero. I would like to know the origin of that quote.

Those are all lies, from people with an agenda. John Kerry served his country with honor and distinction. He came back home and testified before congress about the attrocities that he had seen. Those swift boat veterans prefer to live in fantasy land, ignoring the wrong-doing that occurred.
Kerry not only had the courage to fight in war, he had the courage to come back and tell the truth. Bush had daddy pull strings for him so he could be safe in the Coast guard.
I still have not seen the quote you refer to.

I simply would rather follow someone who's willing to adjust their opinion based upon current and updated information, rather than someone who makes a desicion and sticks to it even though it's been proven dreadfully wrong. Republicans call the former "flip flopping".
XJ, you want to support a guy for posing for pictures on a pile of rubble, go ahead, but keep in mind he could've prevented it but chose to ignore the threat because it would interrupt his golf game. Okay, the golf game part I made up by guessing, but he was aware of Osama's intentions a month before the attacks.

"I served with these guys. I went on missions with them, and these men served honorably. Up and down the chain of command there was no acquiescence to atrocities. It was not condoned, it did not happen, and it was not reported to me verbally or in writing by any of these men including Lt.(jg) Kerry.
In 1971, '72, for almost 18 months, he stood before the television audiences and claimed that the 500,000 men and women in Vietnam, and in combat, were all villains -- there were no heroes. In 2004, one hero from the Vietnam War has appeared, running for President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief. It just galls one to think about it."
-- Captain George Elliott, USN (retired)
That is the quote I was trying to remember. And, yeah absolutely, all of these guys are lying. Give me a break.

I never said that he went into Iraq looking for OBL. How was it known there was no connection between Sadaam and OBL??? Fundmentally they would hate one another. OBL is as religious as Muslims come. He thinks he speaks to his gods like Dubya beleives he is speaking to his. Just as Dubya he thinks church and state should still mix. He also loves making money off oil like Bush. Sadaam loves sex. He loves his cigars. He loves alcohol and loose women. He also put himself in front of religion in his country. He wanted himself worshipped rather than any Muslim figures. Fundamentally OBL and Sadaam hated each other. I see more of a connection between OBL and Bush than Sadaam and OBL. Weren't the Bin Ladens the only ones allowed to leave the country after 9/11. Even Bush SR. had to get off his plane. How interesting. Bush is just trying to finish the war his Daddy started, trying to impress his father. I mean he did say... " We are dealing with the man that try to kill my father. Of course he is evil."
