I love the Republican definition of a "terrorist". What "terrorists" are we training the Iraqis to fight?

Well, I don't wanna get into a giant debate like the past, but my guess is they are trying to eliminate large terrorist networks wherever they may be. I also learned our soldiers are training their soldiers so they can defend themselves against the terrorists. terrorists... like who? bush claims we keep being attacked by insurgents (couldn't the american and brit soldiers be considered insurgents?) and terrorists.. when it seems to be pretty much everyone in the country... maybe he should see that this is becoming another vietnam, or worse. its not the troops fault though i support them just not the reasons they were sent there and are still over there... also in regard to them defending against terrorists, from what i heard everyone there has an rpg and other firearms.. soo they can handle it. i'm sure. we should leave as soon as possible so we dont end up getting kicked out... but he wants the oil soo that likely wont happen. also we're planning war on other countries (iran, north korea...) while having nothing but trouble and mistakes in afghanistan and iraq?? meh bush is a complete bastard in my opinion. he shouldn't have gotten back into office. honestly i dont know why he was given office, the first time.. bush supporters feel free to add something!

There is no need to make XJ feel like an outcast just because we have an asshole in office.

I don't consider him an oucast for having a differing opinion.
I am probably in the minority for hoping that he is able to execute a plan to privatize social security. To me, that is one good thing that can come from the election.

When George Bush first came into office, I'll admit, I was pissed because Al Gore is family to me. His great uncle is(was)my great-grandmother's, grandfather; she called him pappy Gore in that little Tennessee town. Anyway, I had to accept Bush as president and someone at work was telling me about a tax cut he was putting into play. I was thrilled because that meant I would get paid more. I didn't know anything about the Republican party and this same guy started telling me a few things that made me see right wing. He hadn't done anything in office except that tax cut for a while, until that Tuesday. That day hit me hard and is the justification for the war activities that have taken place over the last few years. Afghanistan was torn to pieces and Osama can't last that much longer(at least I don't think he can). The Russian intelligence tipped the Bush administration about weapons that are capable of causing massive destruction and they could be aimed towards the US; it might be wise to check it out. Now, there were some weapons just recently discovered, but not WMD's. Who's to say those weren't what the Russians were referring to as WMD's??? It's a possibility. He went into Iraq with an army, still with an army on the ground in search of Osama. While you're there, why not capture Sadaam, after all, he is an evil man who killed thousands of people, himself. I know Sadaam didn't attack the US, but after 9/11, if you get a tip about some large deadly weapons, like I said last night, you can't take any day for granted, you have to act on it. Sadaam is(was)capable of making the weapons, so why not get him out of the way???

That's a good thing but is it worth it with all the bad things (in my mind) that have occurred as a result of his presidency? i don't really think so... though i'm not saying that other candidates are all good and shiny(sorry firefly influence). i chose not to vote because i didnt feel that either of the choices was that different. neither of them was what i wanted in a candidate. Sooo yeah i know its bad not to vote but meh.... i think our political system is screwed...

Bush killed, and is continuing to kill thousands of people.. depleted uranium all over iraq and afghanistan.. not just the iraqis are infected but our troops, reporters, whoever else was exposed over there..... He didnt go into Iraq looking for Bin Laden.. he went in because Saddam was trying to sell oil to other countries and not just the US. Bin Laden is a billionaire... he's anywhere he wants to be, which has been proven by the tape received before the election... Sadaam had no connection to Bin Laden and that was known.. Bush wanted a way to justify and he used 9-11.. which is wrong in my opinion... using the tragedy of that day to justify going into any country you want and attacking?? That doesn't seem right in the least.
