Whats truely scary (concerning the Scorecard of Evil) is that there is so many atrocities that Bush has done while holding the Presidential seat, yet all his supporters focus on why he is better than Kerry and that it is a good enough reason to put him back in office for another 4 years.
While Kerry might of not been a completely trustworthy canidate, Bush has already proven himself to be a near tyrannical head with no concern of bettering this country, improving relationships internationally, and respecting the American peoples.
To some certain issues like gay rights, abortion and the death penalty are key. But I feel, personally, our wellbeing resides in our economy and our enviroment.
Two things in which Bush has let falter for the sake of the wealthy bourgeoisie.
What sickens me the most is accually seeing the effects of his term in office. I see a drastic increase in the homeless. I used to hardly ever see people around my area holding up cardboard signs reading, "Hungry. Please Help. God Bless." Now it seems that there is alteast one at every other intersection, supressed by captialistic regime who only cares about hoarding their wealth.
It strikes me hard to see that alot of Republicans aren't rich, but hold the belief that if you don't earn your way, then you deserve no aid. Whereas, alot of the homeless and low income households aren't established from not earning a living, but from other factors such as lay offs (which Bush has helped along), bad areas of living, and being born into a certain economic class. Republicans, generally, have this idea that those who don't make substancial income, are lazy and have no chance at bettering our society. And so, I consider these type of people, arrogant and self serving along with the their highest qualities.
It IS the middle and working classes that drive our economy. The small business man, those who do a service, and the hard laborers who work hard for the little that they earn.
The strong should always help those who have the ability to become stronger, and give the next generation the chances that their parents never had.
Bush is NOT for the people. And if the government is not for the people, than how are we represented?
The war in Iraq isn't the only war being fought by the U.S. There is terrorism right here in own soil, every day, yet most are too blind to see it. Our freedoms are being questioned at the expense of a leader who is just as fanatical as the opposition (Bin Laden). Fantacial, but in a controlled setting.
