Or just getting your favorite PC games, movies, music (full albums and videos!!),
e-books and software for free? Here is the place to be!
www.lokitorrent.com
This is especially good if you don't like the hassles of P2P file sharing and spyware.
First things first. Go to www.google.com and search for "BitComet". Download the latest version. This is the program you'll be using to download all the goodies.
When you go to www.lokitorrent.com sign up as you would any forum site. Then when you log in, search for torrents.
Once you find something you like, say...Final Fantasy 7 for PC, download the torrent file. Then it is as easy as double clicking on the file to begin downloading.
Using torrents (with BitComet) is like using KaZaA or any other program of it's type, except you are downloading directly from the users who have the files your looking for. You don't have to worry about fake files, people who won't let you download, and the pains of trying to find the stuff you want. It's much easier, and much more descreet.
There are two reasons I thought of sharing this with you.
1) I have already downloaded many great games and software from this site! 4800 + Roms for MAME, Shaun Of The Dead, 600 + Sci-Fi E-Books, Final Fantasy VII Symphonic OST and FFVII, and FarCry. Why not spread the word to my friends?
2) It seems that the more people who download using Torrents, the faster the downloads get. Say you completely finish downloading FFVII. Afterwards (like KaZaA) you can keep the original files and continue to let other users upload the files. It's called "seeding" and there is always room for more seeders willing to keep the file sharing alive.
There are also more Torrent sites than just www.lokitorrent.com
So try searching for them! Or you could also use BitComet to search for the files you want since it has a nice list of popular torrent sites.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
*Sharing pirated software is illegal and in doing so you are taking a risk. It is entirely on you if you decide to run the risk of illegally downloading such software.
But it's not like you didn't know that now did you?
**Also, this should not be considered SPAM. I am not trying to advertise this site for personal gain or for the benefit of the website itself. I merely want to share my finds and I sincerely hope that you enjoy what you find on LokiTorrent.com
