Cast it right and make it dead serious. Almost like a horror mystery. I can think of some people I would want in it;
Robert Englund (of course)
John Saxon
Mischa Barton
Brad Renfro
Ossie Davis
Roseanna Arquette (as Marge Thompson)

I don't think it's ever gonna happen, but I would love to see it. I like Em's cast only take out Misha Barton (preferably with a missile) I don't think she's right for any role.

Probably not going to happen. I don't know how they would sell the movie without Freddy actually appearing in it. Plus, only NOES fans would see it. I doubt New Line would make if it did not have the ability to catch casual viewers.

I don't think it will happen either but there is talk... Em's cast is great though i dont know that much about Mischa Barton sooo..... i would prefer Lacey Chabert or Emily Perkins, among others, over her.

I remember this conversation from the IMDB board, and the aspect that always derailed it was the fact that they couldn't really show Freddy killing anyone because he murdered children. Killing horny teens is one thing, but I don't think New Line would ok scenes in which Freddy was killing little kids. They would have to be off screen, and then it would turn it into a film that would feel a lot like Seven or Silence of the Lambs. It would still be interesting in that kind of format, but then it wouldn't fit into the NOES series.

She played Kyra, the ghost whom vomited when Haley saw her; also the girl whom's mother/step mom (I forget which) would put nasty stuff (I think laundry detergent or something?) in her food (killing her). Sorry it's been a good few years since I have seen it. It's a small role but it's when her career was just starting.

Ah cool...Now I remember. I should probably seek out those other movies because from what I've seen of the OC, I'm not impressed.

Well I tend to not like shows like 90210, Dawson's Creek and things to that effect. I sort of like the O.C. but not her character. I like it more because I am a big fan of Peter Gallagher and find Adam Brody to be funny.
