they both crack me up but to be honest I think Chucky is a lot funnier

Well, I don't watch either of these guys movies to see how funny they could be. Actually, that part kind of annoys me. Don't get me wrong, I love the NOES series but I prefer the more sinister and serious Freddy. I also love Child's Play 1 - 3 (don't even get me started on BOC). While a little bit of humor is fine. The less humor these guys use the better, as far as I'm concerned.

i would say freddy is just a little bit funnier. though i like them for their evilness and the joking while they're stalking and killing only adds to that in my opinion.

Their humor is better when it is subtle and sinister rather than when it gets slapstick.
