bush and kerry talked when the election was over. and kerry said the nation was too divided and bush agreed and that they were going to do something about it. but then today he says to reporters in his speech"the nation is divided and ill do whatever i can to help but the democrats have to come to me." ha..typical bush right there.

Not all republicans are retarded. Just most. The ones who independently think (or "liberal") are the great ones. FDR and JFK come to mind. But present day, Gov. Schwartzenegger (still weird to say) actually supports stem cell research...and he claims to be republican. From what i can tell, Arnie's been doing a good job in California and the fact that he's republican just blows my mind. I was making a generalization but yeah I get what you mean. |

My point is...every Bush supporter I talked to and heard on talk shows, radio shows, interviews, in person...
never had any real good reason as to why they voted for Bush.
"I feel safe with him! He is a natural leader!"
"He started the war, he should finish..."
"Kerry is a pansy!"
"I agree with his morals."
We have already went over all the things Bush has done wrong for this country. It's all in black and white.
Yet his supporters still choose to find reasons to like him and ignore the facts.
It's like Bush could shit in their faces and they'd still smile and put two thumbs up because Bush is the "take action kinda guy".

no you're not a dumb ass... just that i, and likely others, can't understand why you would choose bush at all. he's so screwed up the country... bad economy, loss of jobs, the whole war situation.. i could go on and on. meh... |

Well, I did explain my reasoning before and it only ended up getting thrown back in my face, so I am choosing to not go that route anymore. If my reasoning isn't understood or liked, then oh well. I have tried to talk about this before, but certain people can't talk without dishing out the insults and I don't deserve that.

no.. no one ever deserves to be insulted but when people feel strongly about something that can happen... not saying its right but i understand. i've been insulted before on much more trivial things.. like over certain bands i liked that other people didnt soo yeah.. i see both sides.
bush though is a complete bastard. he is trashing the economy, he's losing jobs for americans, he's started a war over his greed (though its not just his greed..) and he lied to get us there. even after the lie was found out.. he still has troops in iraq. why is that? if there have been found to be no wmd why are there still american troops over there??

Well, I don't wanna get into a giant debate like the past, but my guess is they are trying to eliminate large terrorist networks wherever they may be. I also learned our soldiers are training their soldiers so they can defend themselves against the terrorists.
