Well, I did in the past and all it led to was me being called a "bastard' by thechameleon, which I didn't appreciate one bit and he never apologized; what he said was "I apologize to any war minded"people, or something like that.

But, I will say something, though. I notice you feel emotional about the troops being killed in what is thought of by millions as a "senseless war". People are making it out like Bush is dragging these people outta their homes by the hair of the head and making them fight, NO WAY. They signed up for the military and what do you do when you sign up for the military, you train to fight in a what............a "war". These people signed up for this. Signed up to dedicate their lives for their country. If he didn't use them, that would be just like having sugar setting right by you, but not putting it in your coffee. You're making him out to be some kind of horror movie character, when in reality, there are tough decisions to be made. If he got information from the Russian intelligence about Weapons capable of causing massive destruction, then by God after September 11th, you don't take any day for granted, you go after those people with those weapons you were told about. And, a few weeks ago, there were some weapons found that had been stolen. How do you know those weren't the supposed WMD's??? Maybe they were under the assumption those were WMD's, but our president just got some bad information??? It's not an easy job as Commander-In-Chief.

It took me so long because I was typing out a message. Nah, I know he isn't around, but that's what led to the "fight" I was talking about. I'll discuss anything, but when you call me names, that's the bottom line.

You and I have always gotten along X. I know you support Bush, and I have no problem with that. I think it would take an awful lot for me to get in a fight with any poster here. Someone's politcal views wouldn't be one of them.

ok...i understand people join the army they are at risk of going to war..i did it.

what you need to understand is when 9/11 happened it was like..hey lets get back at them and blow up everything. i have numerous interviews that prove iraq was a personal issue with bush. im not as harsh about the war as i am about our economy, gay marrage, medicare,social secuirtiy, minimum wage..like i wrote a couple hours ago.

I agree and I'm glad we have always gotten along. I'm not uncomfortable with discussing my reasons for supporting the President, but when someone is throwing it in your face(as he was), that's when all hell breaks loose. And, if you recall, that is what made the debate gradually slow down at the first board we had here at Proboards.

I understand what you're saying and I don't doubt you have interviews with Bush that prove iraq is a personal issue and please don't think I'm being a smart-alec, but that would be just like me saying, I have a video of me talking to Tupac, proving he isn't dead.

I am definitely in the minority here and I'm used to it. I have known these guys around here for almost two years and we had a rocky past, but things are definitely better now around here. I don't know you either, but I'm glad to be posting with you. Yeah, debating is one thing that's fun, but when you call someone names for having their own views, that isn't cool.
