My favorite music is:
80's Heavy Metal Rap music
I'll still talk politics if anyone is up for it, but the topic does make you tired after a while.

I used to be a huge rap music fan, but somewhere around '98 I lost interest.

Yeah, I'm not much into the party rap that hogs the majority of the airwaves now. It gets too repetitive for my tastes.

Wow, this topic really blew up in the pages. I didn't even bother reading them all, just the last couple.
Anywho, XJ is (or should be) well aware that I loath Bush and I had many reasons to. And since our "heated" debated, the months since, I've come across more information to hate the guy, and hate his war. Bush's sh!t just keeps piling up...and the general public doesn't see it, or doesn't want to. But even though we disagreed, it didn't mean I hated XJ for opposing.
But, now we're stuck with Bush for another 4 years...all comedians rejoice!

This is point right here. Why did Bush decide to turn his attention to Iraq? Key points... - His father, like him, was a Republican business man who had interests in Iraq right from the start of his term in office. The Oil in Iraq is a cashpot.
- UN inspectors didn't find any evidence of WMD, but Bush claims that US intellegence found evidence. It is known that Iraq, years before Desert Storm, had manufactured Biochemical weapons. But these weapons and organizations were funded by the US Government.
- Bush goes against the UN and invades Iraq anyway, making some really bitter enemies. American society seems not to care about (or even hate, depending on who you ask) the Germans or French, even though they were trust worthy allies before.
- There was no real proof of WMD's in Iraq, yet Korea and Iran had openly begun producing WMD's. They were much more threatening to world peace, but they don't have oil now do they?
- Bush uses a few excuses to convince the American peoples to back his decisions to wage war on Saddam. One is that Iraq is a harbor for terrorists. I'm not so sure of this, but I don't remember any terrorist leaders or key players being found in Iraq. The other excuse was that WMD were being produced and that Saddam was a monster who wouldn't hesitate to use them.
This "monster", as stated before, was once friends with the US and was also funded by it.
Summary: Bush tricked the American peoples to back up his resolve to stop the evils of the world, using 9/11 as the starting point and an oppurtunity to show himself as a assertive leader. Instead of going after real threats like Korea or Iran, he decides to go back to good ol' Dad's interests in Iraq. He cooks up some stories, some of which held bits of truth mixed with the propaganda so that it could do down easier. Bush was after the Oil, but he couldn't get it, because Saddam knew the Bush's plan and burned alot of his oil fields. Now, that Plan A has gone screwy, Bush is resorting to plan B, by drilling in National Wildlife Reserves in Alaska. Where does some this oil go? To Japan, where big businessment like Bush can make truckloads of cash, while America is suffering with high gas prices. And there you have it folks. The tale of a swindler who wants to gain captial for himself and people like him. The peasants being swoon by the Rich, by a lost cause, repeating History which is seemingly controlled by the leaders of the economy.

Here's some things noticed during the election;
Notice Bush basically just took Southern and Midwestern states. We really need to get rid of the Electoral College, southern and Midwestern states are severely over represented with this system. I am so happy Michigan turned out to be Kerry. However, one has to wonder… did this fuck actually win just by kissing redneck and bible thumping ass. Bush is the first Republican in the modern era to win the Presidency despite losing in the category of College Graduates. He also lost in the category of people with “Some college education”. This guy pretty much got elected because dumb asses are fond of him.
I also have to wonder why any woman would vote for a guy who would take away their right to choose.
What the fuck is this guy’s problem with stem cell research? Republicans are retarded when it comes to this.
It’s a sad day when someone can be voted President despite having less than 9% of the Black vote. I imagine these people feel as disenfranchised as me. It wasn’t just blacks either. Bush got fewer votes with all minorities. This is because poor people and minorities are the ones that end up fighting the wars (even if they have the least to gain by them).

Not all republicans are retarded. Just most. The ones who independently think (or "liberal") are the great ones. FDR and JFK come to mind. But present day, Gov. Schwartzenegger (still weird to say) actually supports stem cell research...and he claims to be republican.
From what i can tell, Arnie's been doing a good job in California and the fact that he's republican just blows my mind.
And you are totally right that the reason Bush won was because he caters to rednecks and bible-thumpers.
I would also like to point out, I was watching a documentry on Afganistan and the Taliban, and the leader of Afganistan was considered by both US and Russia as the guy who ended the Cold War. Great guy, can't remember his name, but seemed to be well respected. But with his more free views on society, the Taliban had basically started threatening him and his way of life. They've been struggling for years, till eventually, this leader of Afganistan sent a video to George W. Bush a month before 9-11 warning Bush that if Osama (leader of the Taliban) were to get rid of him, the Taliban would become a bigger threat to the US. He was asking for help. What did Bush do? Nothing. Ignorance is bliss, isn't it?
